27th November 2004 Windsurfing: Sandbanks Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 20knts Surf / Sea State: 3ft Waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Think I've got about the right date...... Feeling terrible - on every flu remedy going to try and get me onto the water. Rigged the 5.0 and went for a play. I sailed like and arse, but the conditions were really nice. Could have done with the 5.75, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.... Getting better at landing chop hops - almost time to try and do some proper jumps! Wind dropped off a little so I thought I would get some flat water blasting in on the harbour side. Went out on the 6.5 and the stoke. Had to sail into the shipping lane to get out of the wind shadow, and even then it was so gusty that I was having no fun at all. Decided to go wetsuit shopping instead... |
